My five year old daughter and eleven year old son instantly engaged in battle and kept themselves amused for the next 45 minutes easily, trying to split each others character. Even my &quot;too cool for anything&quot; fourteen year old daughter joined in! It really is such a simple premise but a thoroughly enjoyable toy. With over 38 battle action figures to collect this makes for the perfect toy for little collectors. Little ones can battle using the handheld switches or joysticks which turn the action figures to punch and use their weapons, the aim is to be the first to carry out a &quot;split strike&quot; which splits their opponent in half. There is also a more advanced way to play for older kids whereby different figures have weak points and each move has damage points etc. Each warrior has different stats and they all have varying weapons and abilities to tap into the untold power of the six elements - earth, fire, water, light, shadow and lightning! The little figures are quite cute and I was impressed with all the little details, including the little weapons. My daughter enjoyed playing with these and battling her friends. But we received two figures and one was a fair bit weaker than the other. This weaker figure always ended up losing so it did get rather predictable. This hasn't put my daughter off, there are lots of different figures to collect and my daughter would love to add more to her collection. The figures are quite small, so are very portable and great to take on trips. Ours are quite well balanced, powerwise, so it ensured a fair fight. Our kids really enjoyed playing with these. Their competitive streaks really showed when playing with them and they enjoyed battling their siblings. At first, one of our figures seemed to split very easily, more so than the other figure, but after a while it was fine. They're just about ready to go out of the box, just click the figure onto the base and let battle commence. Really easy to play, just place your finger in the slot and pull back and your figure will start battling. The sliders on the side of the base help you keep score. The detail on them is fantastic and the quality really good. My 6&amp;4 year olds break most things but these toys have battled and battled and are still not showing signs of wear. Sold as a lucky dip style out of a potential 42 to collect, each character is really different to the others. Clearly a lot of thought has gone into their creation. We've had so much fun battling and playing with them and there's no set up time so it's just get them out and play, perfect if you have young, impatient children. We keep going back to these toys over and over, I would definitely recommend them. There was a clear indicator when someone won the battle that I won't say here. We were surprised at it and you should enjoy that surprise too. It was a nice touch that there is a duel counter on each warrior base to keep track of scores. We loved having fight tournaments and guessing who would win each fight . These toys are sturdy and so much fun . Also it's fun guessing who wins each time . There are quite few of them to collect and my boy has already selected few he would like for Christmas. These come in individual boxes with sheet with all the characters you can collect. The box is bright and very eye-catching and easy enough for my boy to open on his own . We even took these on few days out with us . Such great entertainment and fun for the whole family at a good price .
