It comes with one plastic crown that can be decorated in three different ways. Each pattern included is based off a different Disney Princess. For this kit, they included Princess Jasmine, Princess Rapunzel, and Princess Bell inspired patterns. My daughter chose to work on the Princess Rapunzel pattern first, it took her approximately forty five minutes to put together by herself. For a younger child , it might take a bit longer. I love the fact that she can complete the project on her own and work independently on it. Growing up and buying them as a parent, I've only been aware of the beads that you have to melt together with hot iron. I've never been a real fan of those. These are much easier but you have to be careful use enough water but not too much water. Also don't leave it wet longer than instructed to. I left one overnight and it was curled up and stuck to the assembly plate. This kit comes with the assembly plate, templates, beads, and spray bottle. There is no ironing required so there is no chance of getting burned. The beads soak in water for a short time and are ready to be used. Not only can a crown be made but you can also make Disney princesses. Once the product dries it becomes hard and you are able to pick them up and they stay in place.
