If you have a child who loves Spirit...they will love this toy. The pieces are sturdy and comes with some little pieces to add to the fun. The horse is just the right size for the doll to fit on and it comes with a brush you can use for the hair. If you have young kids the pieces may go missing but it your child can still use it without the pieces. Packaging was great! Wasn&rsquo;t too difficult to get out, like most products these days. My child immediately started playing with it after we got it out of the packaging. Was easy to fit the doll on the horse. Was a nice added feature to have the clip on the horse to hold the doll in place. Chica has a beautiful mane the kids can brush and her head moves up and down. The saddle also comes off which is a bonus. The kids loved that Pru can be attached to the saddle so she doesn't fall off when riding. This was the second of three sets that she has now and it has been especially fun for her when her little friends come over and she can share her second set with them. My daughter is younger, so having the waist clip on the back of the horse for the doll to attach and sit properly on is so handy for her and makes playtime with it less frustrating/more enjoyably for her little hands. She also loves being able to brush the horse's mane and &quot;feeding&quot; it the little carrots. The only downside we see is that the little carrots are small and they easily get lost in the jumble of other little doll toys and accessories. This set is so cute and fun. My daughter loves Pru (especially her hair). The limited articulation is a bonus, and it is nice to see the creativity in scenarios that have been introduced. I also love that my daughter has allowed her little brother to play with Chica Linda, too! Chica Linda has galloped on my back, shoulders and head, and is quite durable (and I have not been concussed, so those both go in the &quot;win&quot; column). I love that Chica Linda's head also has the ability to move up and down. The representation is appreciated, along with the durability and quality. You did a great job with this one, Mattel! She let her imagination run away with its self and came up with all sorts of problems or situations in tune with the show. The toy is well made and robust to the &quot;abuses&quot; of a toddler, the colours and detail are very good and the rider figure has (all be it artificial) hair that is tactile and an added feature. The rider also has movable joints to change the position as the child wants, the horse is basic but well built with &quot;hair&quot; for the mane and tail, the saddle is rubber and removable (for what reason I am unsure) as well are the Reins. The only slight criticism I would say is the clip to hold the rider figure in place kept popping out but I don't know if this was a flaw or deliberate? It however didn't get in the way of my daughters fun and was more of an annoyance to me.
