Both the doll and the horse are well made - study for play while remaining authentic to the show. This will be a big hit for any child who is a fan of the show. The attention to detail was wonderful and the gift recipient immediately starting role playing. I like that the horse is pretty stable standing, even with the doll in the saddle. The doll sat pretty good in the saddle, but I couldn't get her feet in the stirrups or get her to hold the reins. Which to a little kid probably not a big deal. I really liked that it would hold the doll in place so she wasn't falling off all the time. I tightened the saddle and thought I might rip the end of. The horses saddle has a little clip on the back that keeps the girl in place no matter how fast the horse may &lsquo;gallop&rsquo;. A brush is included so that you can brush the horses mane and tail. Some stray hairs came out of the mane during the first couple of brushings but that has stopped now. The doll&rsquo;s legs bend and fit well around the horse when on the saddle. I do prefer real clothes that can be changed on dolls and this doll has plastic molded clothes. I see how this can be a plus though, as the doll will never be missing shoes or other random articles of clothing. She was so excited when she received the new Pru and Chica Linda. Her outfit is colorful and truly matches Pru&rsquo;s style. My daughter especially liked having the saddle for Chica Linda and the little piece that holds Pru onto Chica Linda. They are both avid horse lovers and adore the TV series Spirit. The packaging was a little difficult with all the plastic gadgets they keep the product in with but once it was removed they had a fun time and continue to play with this set on a regular basis. The doll Pru is adorable, she&rsquo;s jointed at the knees and hips, her shirt is removable with Velcro at the back. She has painted features and a beautiful head of curly hair. Her horse Chica Linda&rsquo;s head moves around and has a beautiful brushable mane and tail. The saddle has a holder to keep Pru on the horse. Pru can also hold onto the reins and put her feet in the stirrups for true realism. I personally love this toy (and the others in the set) because of the doll holder on the horse. At first I thought it looked weird, but it doesn&rsquo;t bother my daughter at all and it actually makes playing with it easier for her. She is always trying to figure out ways to keep dolls mounted to other horses she has, and it just becomes very frustrating for her.
