It was very easy to put together , even without reading the instructions. The house comes plain without any stickers on or decorations so you can make it your own. It also comes with a cute little stickers , a hammer , a nail to Hang up the puppy name tag, an adoption certificate and a small puppy bone. Once your house is fully ready, and the door is on, you close the door and viola you puppy will appear. My daughter was so excited to see what surprise puppy was inside and loved getting to decorate the house herself. Great concept! The only issue is the little mat doesn&rsquo;t clip in as it&rsquo;s supposed to, so we can&rsquo;t really use that unless the house it just sitting on top of it. I wish they put how to open the box on the outside of the packaging because I struggled figuring out how to open it. I eventually tore open the box and the instructions were inside. The kids will also likely need help reading the instructions on how to put the house together, which is only a few steps. The few steps are educational and fun. The final step reveals your puppy pet! That was super adorable and the kids really enjoyed that. The kids got to play with their new puppy friend and they even have their own house now too. The plush and house are nice quality. The best part of this toy is wonder what dog you are going to get. We loved the interactive way to &ldquo;build&rdquo; the house and name the puppy. My son&rsquo;s (2 year old) favorite part is the disappearing trap door where the dog can go and reappear.
