Both look amazing and their sound effects are so cool! I would have enjoyed these as a kid myself, and it was fun to play with these with our child. The Allosaurus dinosaur toy has a function on it that allows you to roll a gear-like piece on its back in order to get it to open and close its mouth, along with actions and sounds. Ours kept sticking. It feels like something inside the toy isn&rsquo;t aligned properly. We went to two different stores and checked their Allosaurus dinosaurs that they had on their shelves and in both stores theirs moved a lot easier. After the third day that part of the toy stopped working and now it is difficult to get it to do those functions or make the sounds. It&rsquo;s still a nice dinosaur, but it is disappointing that it didn&rsquo;t hold up through the third day of gentle play with a 5 year old. We may try again and replace this one with another. I suggest trying them in store before purchasing to make sure the toy is working as it should be. Before I forget, there is also a fun addition of being able to scan the code on the dinosaur to the app. That brings up some interesting factions and information with graphics. It is very animated for its size. The feet are easily movable into different positions. We liked that the feet can also be moved into different positions in addition to the movement of the legs. The skin is textured very realistically. The variety of sounds is enjoyable and not too loud. My child had a lot of fun playing with this toy. The coloring is bright and eye-catching. The wheel on the back is easy to rotate, as is the button for the spikes. The spikes look tough, but are smooth enough not to be painful when touched. The tail is nice, but seems to be something that could snap off at some point in the near future. His made him interested in the Dinos and on top of that their school is also telling them a lot about pre-historic period when Dinosaurs roam on the planet. The toy itself is amazing if I need to describe in just one word. It is quite big in size which really make sit impressive and has sound effects. My son got glued to the toy and he exploring all its features. We have had other Dino toys earlier and this is definitely one among the best. There's a wheel/crack on the back that opens and closes the mouth of the dinosaur that could be a little tough to turn for smaller children. Our six year old can do it as long as he's holding the dinosaur with both hands. Our children enjoy the movements/actions and enjoy using this toy with their other dinosaurs. The neck motion with the roaring noise is easy for him to trigger and the roar isn&rsquo;t so loud I want to throw it out of the moving car. He loves the &ldquo;defense spike shield&rdquo;, as he calls it, and says it protects the dino from even the dreaded Indominus. This dinosaur toy is pretty cool, it makes noises and has a few movement features. The dinosaurs neck moves to a top and bottom location. It does a different roar in both of these places. The tail also rotates freely and the dinosaur stands fairly well. The other movement feature is that his spikes can get bigger. These features are easy to use however my 4 year old struggles with the fine motor motion to make the neck move and roar. This has been improving as he continues to play but is worth noting that kids might not get the full use of it right away. It is a classic pretend play dino and a good size meaning both easy to store and large enough to be the &quot;big&quot; dino which is exciting to kids. It is durable and well made. It has been beat up a bit and still is working as intended and looks great. I also appreciate that that there is no accidentally making the dino roar as it does take effort to activate the noises. My 6 1/2 year-old son has absolutely loved playing with this dinosaur. He named it Chester, and Chester has quickly become part of our family. He goes out with us often and sleeps in my son&rsquo;s bed every night. I&rsquo;m guessing it&rsquo;s the perfect size for him since the other dinosaurs he has are giant. I love that it is easy to clean/wipe down after Chester has been out and about with us all day. My son has truly enjoyed teaching others about Chester and scaring us all with it. The dinosaur makes noises but my son also makes his own for added effects! He is definitely loving the action play with his new toy.
