In the menu itself, you cannot change how much other people hear, but only how much you can hear of yourself. Lastly, both times I have gotten these controllers, the plug where I would put my headset Jack would break too easily and all I beg is that it is made to be more durable. First, it lacks the programmable buttons on the back of the controller. Why cut the one practical feature that put you ahead of other controllers in the price range? Second, the lighting is just LEDs on the circuit board, similar to the xbox360 controllers, which doesn't loom as good as the fiber optic lighting that the older xbox one model has. Third, this controller is LOUD! So loud that it's obnoxious. And with a headset on, it's still annoying other people in the room. Overall it works, I'm just very disappointed since I got this to replace my older model that is wearing out. When my son uses it he loves setting it to Blue, and when my daughter uses it she likes how it can fade in and out of all of the color settings. I prefer to turn the lighting off and just see the cool components of the controller. I also liked how you can download the app and make all the necessary adjustments to the controller (run diagnostics, set audio, remap buttons, etc.) Another great feature on this controller is on the fly audio adjustments using the d-pad and function button right on the controller. All I can say is, quality even better than xbox one original controller, very responsive, plugged in the USB to my computer. Immediately recognized as an original Xbox controller. Cable attaches perfectly into the control and stays there fixed. Buttons feel good, and holding the control is great. Lights are easy to control where you can chose multiple ones and the intensity of them. 0 problems with the controlar. This controller was a third of the cost of a normal wireless controller and even comes with unique LED lights. I could even tell that it was more responsive and allowed me to become a better video game player almost immediately. After about a month, it happened again and I shook the controller and I could hear something moving around inside the controller and I saw a small piece of plastic inside the controller, so I took it apart and took the piece of plastic out and checked the controller for anywhere the plastic could have come from and I found no damage. The controller hasn&rsquo;t had either of the triggers lock up.
