It was easy to use right out of the package, it comes with the batteries installed. It lights up and makes &ldquo;enchanted&rdquo; sounds. It&rsquo;s hard to tell from the photo but the wand has yellow glitter which makes it look even more &ldquo;magical&rdquo;. My kids have absolutely loved playing with it. This would make a great gift for any little girl. My kids have huge imaginations.. so we can come up with ideas for everything. However this wand is kind of underwhelming. It lights up and makes a few sounds but it&rsquo;s like ehhh not that exciting. My kids played with it for a few days but very quickly got bored of it. However for the price it&rsquo;s not a bad deal. My toddler had more fun using it to hit boxes with than anything.
