It is made out of good quality material and it looks like rubber bands can bounce of pretty much anything. It took my 7 and 10 years old son less than 30 minutes to fully assembled the cage without any grownup help. After whole set was up and ready to battle we came across the only down side, lack of any sort of playable figures attached. It did put of our sons a little bit but when we suggested that toy story figures can face up each other in the cage they rushed to assemble teams made up from their favourite toys. He wanted it for the cage, which is cool but there are other neat features we didn&rsquo;t know it had. The way the ropes are set up is very easy to use and stays secure while playing. The ring itself is on some sort of spring mechanism so the whole floor can bounce - a great feature to show how hard someone hits the mat. And the cage is removable, so you don&rsquo;t have to use it if you don&rsquo;t want to. Funny but I think the favorite part for my son is the weapons it comes with other! A crutch, nightstick and some other miscellaneous things. It looked just like the real cage on TV! The spring floor of the ring was great for lively WRESTLING matches, and it definitely sent the action figures flying. My son liked the uniqueness of this item because it was more than just a simple WRESTLING ring. It came with a cage (with sections that could be &quot;busted&quot; through), props (crutch, stick, etc.) and a launcher (to send wrestlers flying into the ring). The only two drawbacks, according to my son, are (1) that he launcher didn't work very well since it never propelled the action figures high enough to get in the ring; and (2) the cage itself is a little too tall, and it made it difficult to reach over and move the figures around in the ring. The toy, however, is very well-made, and it has easily survived days of super rough WRESTLING matches!
