I received this as a gift for my baby shower February 2020. The first time we used it with only 1 camera, in June. We used it approximately 5 times, when night vision mode started flashing and then it completely died. We weren't too worried as it comes with 2 cameras, so we started using the second camera in August. We used that camera for maybe 10-15 times periodically when baby would nap in the crib. About a month ago the same thing happened where night vision would flash and then it died. Have tried all troubleshooting methods on the website and nothing worked.

We purchased it in August 2019 during a good sale (baby was due Jan 2020) but have only been using it consistently since mid-May 2020 when our son moved to his own room. Our night vision has been spotty the last few days and tonight just completely died. So we are hoping our son is not going to get up to anything too crazy tonight, considering we can only hear him and not see him. When I was troubleshooting the problem, I came across several posts from other parents who had the same issues. I will not be purchasing a monitor from this company again.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I appreciate the articulating wall Mount brackets that this unit comes with which allowed me to set it up at an ideal angle for the room and the pan/tilt/zoom function comes in handy if you have a child on the move. The large 5" screen is great.
The picture quality could be better however I wasn't expecting it to be crystal clear at this price point. It allows me to see what my toddler is doing (sleeping or roaming around) which will suffice. Once I have a newborn to watch as well it may leave a bit to the imagination but I also have the cameras set up at least 7-8" away from the bed so that may be part of the issue. All in all I'm quite happy with this purchase!</span>

<span itemprop="description">We bought this monitor for our first baby and were very happy with it at first. Video quality was good, good range and good night vision. Then we noticed over time the battery life got worse and worse and it was impossible to plug the cord in to get it to charge correctly. Was super annoying to fiddle with it, finally get it to charge and then wake up halfway through the night to realize it had stopped charging again. Then the other day we got a notification saying there was some kind of error and it no longer pairs with our camera. We called V-Tech and there's nothing we can do to fix it and because it's been more than a year we have no warranty. In researching new options (as we are expecting Baby #2) I found the charging port is a common issue with V-Tech. So needless to say we will not be buying a V-tech for the next baby.</span>

<span itemprop="description">We just bought this monitor and the picture is the worst that I have ever seen. The zoom function doesn’t help you see any better, either. I liked that the monitor could play soothing sounds though there is no way to turn the volume up or down on the function.
Additionally, we have an off-brand monitor with a smaller picture that has quite a wide range of reception though when I took this monitor the same distance the signal cut off when I was maybe 2/3 of the way through the house (we do not have a large house)
The worst part is that we had to pay for a protection plan to even be able to return this piece of junk and that only goes onto a gift card.</span>
