<span itemprop="description">I bought this video monitor strictly because we needed something with great distance to cover and a video monitore that didn’t need wifi or data. I dont have wifi coverage everywhere on our property outside and I didn’t really want to use data on my phone to watch our baby.
It really does cover the distance it says it does.. (does depend on how many walls and such is has to travel through but our one camera has to travel through brick walls and is in the older part of our farm house and we do notice that one has a harder time picking up the connection. And the other camera is in the newer part of our house and the connection is great ones we get outside with the video monitor.)
We are very happy with it so far. The image for us is very clear and the sensitive on it is great. Battery life I can’t complain about so far, the more you use it or if you always have it on the more you’ll have to charge it obviously. You can adjust some of the settings to save your battery life. I would recommend it, and think it’s worth the money. Basic simple to use nothing to fancy.</span>

<span itemprop="description">It does what it needs to do. The camera doesnt maneuver that great so if your looking for a good angle it may be difficult. The battery is garbage! It only lasts about 2 hours. As time goes on it will probably constantly need to be hooked onto the power outlet. Defiantly not worth the regular price!</span>

<span itemprop="description">The battery on the parent console lasts 10-15 mins and the sensitivity of the VOX is not great - I've tried it at every level and it picks up the sound machine, but not my daughter's cries! The picture quality is fine and it's fine if it's on all the time (not on VOX) but then the battery doesn't last long at all.</span>

The battery on the monitor is awful, the battery is dow to one bar by the time my daughter is finished a short nap. you cannot manually change the view from daytime to night time so if the room is dimly lit the picture is displayed in night vision but you can't see anything. This item ws gifted to me from my registry, if I had of paid my own money for it I would have returned i for a different camera/monitor system.</span>

<span itemprop="description">We've used another Motorola/Vtech that had some battery issues and one camera. This one has no battery problems so far and the inclusion of VOX control is great. The biggest problem are the camera mounts. They are not able to be aimed through all angles so you might have an issue. But for $90 it works just fine with decent enough picture quality and features.</span>

<span itemprop="description">We purchased this product during a half-off sale as the packaging and video made it appear that it was "high-tech" and had all the bells and whistles of an modern baby monitor.
PROS:
- Allows you to talk to your child through the monitor.
- Easy set up
- Com es with two cameras
CONS:
- The monitor is LOUD even on the lowest setting.
- The screen does not auto dim so its also bright and kept us up at night.
- The video picture was fuzzy at times, not as clear as our 10 year old monitor passed down via a friend.
- The sound would cut out if zoom in on the baby, something that took us over an hour to troubleshoot.
I would NOT purchase this item as the cons heavily outweigh the pros. We will be returning this monitor and going back to use our hand-me-down.</span>

The VM2251-2 has VOX sensitivity &bull; With this feature, you can choose to hear sounds from the baby unit all the time, or to hear sounds that exceed a certain level. You can use the parent unit to adjust the microphone sensitivity of your baby unit. The higher the sensitivity level, the more sensitive the baby unit is in detecting sounds for transmitting to the parent unit.
