The phrases are very repetitive. I am glad that the volume isn't loud. The screen is a mirror so they can see themselves while they play. When a button is pushed, yellow smiley faces pop up on the screen. It also has a spinning disc, a slider, and an arrow that they can move. Alot of toddler toys he has is very minimal with sound and I think because this toy is louder and more clear, he enjoys it so much more. He is fascinated with the mirror that represents the laptop screen. It's fun for him to see his reflection and interact with all the sounds. He likes the bright colors of all the buttons and that he can use the slider and very easily push the buttons and different things happen. The toy is nicely sized for small toddler hands. I like that he has initiative to repeat the sounds he hears, such as animal names and sounds. We also teach him colors with it and there's just so many different encouraging ways to learn with this but it's also a super fun little toy that definitely holds their attention. Although he&rsquo;s still relatively young, there&rsquo;s a lot of learning and good content from the toy. My four year old of course also tries to play with it and take it away from him and she understands the learning aspect of it. When my son gets a little bit older it will be perfect.
