After ripping up the carboard box he opened the egg. The pieces are good dinosaur colors and he was more than excited to put them together. First he built the chopper. He played with is for a couple of minutes. Then he made the pterodactyl and that was game over. He plays with it day and night. I love that even with heavy play it stays together.</span>

He loves playing all of the sounds and “flying” it around. It makes dinosaur, helicopter, and a man talking. You don’t get the sense off the bat that is a human-piloted dinosaur helicopter but the sounds definitely imply it. Additionally, it is a great value for the price; he has gotten so much play value out of it already and brings it everywhere. The instructions are clear and assembly is easy for an adult.
Maybe my only two gripes are the following: Assembly definitely requires an adult to not just assist, but do it as it is too complicated for a 4-year-old. Additionally, some of the connections of assembly are a little loose. For example, if there is a peg in a hole, it doesn’t fit together super tight. It has so far stayed together but I suppose there is a possibility it does come apart.
Overall I would definitely recommend this!</span>

The instructions are in black and white and teeny tiny and hard to decipher which piece is what, and which piece goes where. It took me longer than I’d like to admit to put it together, and I’m pretty sure I put it together wrong. I thought it was supposed to move or kinda transform, but it definitely isn’t. It does have a button on it to make noise though.</span>

The bonuses are that it makes noise and that it can be deconstructed and built into two separate things. He loves dinosaurs like most kids, but it was a very appealing toy for him. I helped him identify the piece numbers and assemble but by taking it apart and putting it back he has figured it out. I love that it gets his brain working in this way! Great toy.</span>
