Its a modern play on Transformers. There are alot of moving parts that I'm hoping will stay in one piece. The chest pounding action wasn't what was expected and flopped its arms weakly. The digital face is different, it doesn't really match the rest of the toy but it does give it the opportunity to make different expressions. My kids love transforming it from a car into the gorilla. It's fairly easy to transform, just turn the back wheels, point the head down, and move the front arms together, and you got yourself a car! The gorilla's face is a small LED video like display, and makes noises to go along with it. The car/gorilla came with batteries so ready to go from the start. My son is 6 years old, and the transforming is not complicated at all for him. The only part he has difficulty with is &quot;snapping&quot; the two arms together when trying to make the car part of the transformation. It requires a bit of strength to &quot;snap&quot; them together. It&rsquo;s easy to transform from gorilla to muscle car and back again without being too complicated. The LCD screen is a great addition bringing it to life. There&rsquo;s 30 different sounds and phrases keeping playtime interesting with my child excitedly waiting to hear what he says next. It has a lot of different phrases so you're not listening to the same thing over and over again, at least not in rapid succession. That's a plus since talking toys can be so redundant and annoying for parents to listen to. It's easy to transform and small enough for little hands to play with so my 9 year old daughter, 7 year old daughter and 3 year old daughter can play with it easily. They are all super excited with everything it does. The ape will beat its chest with two strong fists when you press the action button plus it's eyes change from friendly to fierce when it&rsquo;s ready for action. It has sound effects and gorilla talk also. The car mode is ready to roll and race with an animated driver and awesome sound effects which is really cool. It is easy to glide around our hardwood floor and works great.
