It plays sounds, lights up on top and is super soft where they each can grab it. There was is a sloth in the middle kind of hidden which they both were very interested in. After some time of play and both of them pulling on it, the ball is no worse for wear which I have found typical great quality from Vtech. This is great and seemed to have them both interested for some time.</span>
