This is such a unique toy. She comes with 8 different foods that can be easily stored in the tail so they don&rsquo;t get lost. She makes a sniffing noise and sticks out her tongue for when you hold up the foods to her mouth. She will spit out hot foods like a pepper and lets you know how much she likes foods like candy. She also responds to being pet on the head, sometimes with an &ldquo;I love you&rdquo;. She sings songs as well. It had batteries already installed right out of the box so there was no setup. It is well built and sturdy. My kiddos are obsessed with this toy. Both my five year old and two and a half year old love Sandy. The colors are bright and enticing along with the little good chips that look fun and appealing. My twins are 2 and the movement scars one of them when the tongue comes out to grab the food chip, my other twin is a little rough and I can see child potentially breaking the toy by trying to grab the tongue. Not only do they learn items, but they also learn about each item. The smell, taste, sound, etc. I have 3 young ones who love to play with it. (Ages 1-7) soxits definitely a toy that grabs kids' attention. It's definitely very entertaining and not just a one-time entertaining item. They have played with it every day now for close to 2 weeks. It's super durable and easy to use. It's definitely very versatile, from having a place to store the items, learn about items, listening skills, and more. I definitely feel like it's safe, the pieces are too big for a baby mouth (even a 1 year old) , but definitely would watch out cause I'm sure some kids could easily get these in their mouth. Just where my kids are at, it's safe.
