So if you bought ONLY the used camera, and not the parent unit as well, you bought half of a pair and cannot make the setup choices.&#10;&#10;The password saved in your used parent unit is the SSID for the original router of the first owner. But since you are now the owner of this monitor, you are not trying to log in to their home router anymore, so you don&#39;t need their password. You need to rerun the setup on the parent unit, which will show a list of routers in the area, from the list select your new home router and then enter YOUR home router password to connect to this (it&#39;s usually written on a sticker behind your router). Last step, your camera(s) should appear as eligible devices to pair, select them and you will see the video feed pop up. There are many videos online showing step by step how to setup the camera via the parent unit to work on your home router.&#10;&#10;If you already tried this, and still the camera is not coming along and pairing, there is a way to factory reset the system as follows:&#10;&#10;Press keys in this order: menu, up, down, down, up, talk - press OK to restore&amp;gt; press select then the unit will reset itself to factory original settings. There&#39;s limited space here, but I will try to offer some ideas.&#10;&#10;Your description of the problem is unfortunately not clear, are you saying the camera is OFF (IE a power issue), or it&#39;s on but you are not seeing the video stream? There are 2 ways to stream, WiFi or the included Parent Unit. I suggest you trouble shoot the problem with the included Parent unit, as WiFi is a more complex problem to trouble shoot as it involves routers, smart devices, and software. If you can get video to stream to the included Parent unit, then you know the camera is working when trouble shooting the WiFi.&#10;&#10;Start by double checking the camera&#39;s A/C adapter, make sure both the wall plug and the camera plug are firmly pushed in (it may have moved), and also check that the A/C adapter is connected to the BOTTOM wall plug, sometimes people connect it to the TOP one, then turn off the light switch which turns the camera power off. Lastly, check if the camera&#39;s A/C adapter is hot to the touch, it could be the adapter.
