I wanted an easy to use, high definition system that had two cameras on one monitor and this monitor system delivers. This system includes the capability to download an app and monitor remotely, which is good to have especially when you have babysitters, but when I am at home I prefer the plug and play using the parent unit. I like that this system offers both capabilities. I was able to get the plug and play up running in a minute. It was very simple to set up. I just plugged in both cameras and the baby unit, pressed ok a few times and was set! The resolution on the camera is crisp and clear. I like the big screen and set it up so I can see both cameras on the display at once. The large screen enables me to see the baby&rsquo;s and toddler&rsquo;s rooms clearly. I can also pan side to side and up and down on each baby camera through the parent unit. I do not have to be in the room to adjust. The zoom and night vision are great. The app is cool because it lets you log in from multiple devices, so both you and other care takers can see what is happening. I set it up on my iphone but it also says it works with Andriod. This system has nice extra touches. For example, it includes Velcro ties on all cords so you can tighten any loose cord and two wall mounts for the baby unit cameras. It displays the temperature and lets you record. It also has the capability to talk to your baby and play lullabies or white noise. It has a sound and motion detection setting which allows the screen and sound to turn off on the parent device but will alert it if the set amount of sound or movement is reached where the baby device is. You can use the app on your phone as well as the parent device to see and hear what the baby monitor is picking up so you don&rsquo;t have to lug the parent monitor and charging cord with you in various rooms of your house if you don&rsquo;t want to. It holds a 2 hr charge though if you do want to bring it with you to another room without the charging cord. Only drawback I found was that there wasn&rsquo;t much of a manual. Personally, I prefer using the monitor that came with it over using the phone app. The only thing I had hoped would be better is the nightvision. It is possible to see my son during the night but it is not clear at all. It was a bit difficult to set up the phone app though as you need to scan the QR code on the monitor but my phone failed to scan it several times. The cameras do tilt a d rotate for you to get the view you want, as well as zooming in and out. The cameras do rotate with motion bit I found the motion detection to be pretty noisy so I do not use that feature. You can rotate the camera from the monitor so there is no need to move the camera. One of cameras does continue to move with motion detection even though I have that option turned off. I only need one camera set up so I haven&rsquo;t really tried to figure that issue out. You have a monitor with a large screen, but you can also download the app so you can check on baby away from home. You can set up the monitor to alert you with any sounds or motion it picks up. It shows you what the temperature is as well. The camera can turn in multiple directions, so you can always move the angles if your baby loves to move around the crib like mine. There's also a zoom feature and the ability to turn the cameras off from the camera base. Something that I personally like is that there's an option to talk to the baby and play lullabies to help sooth them. The video quality of the monitor is very good and clear and we can see our baby very clearly even in night vision. The quality is far far better than the other monitor that we had been using since our baby's birth. The only drawback that I felt with this is that it does not rotate much. The camera rotation range is limited to the baby's crib and a little outside, but I cannot view further in the room. They're easy to set up and I love that you not only get the screen but 2 cameras as well. I having the option to log into my app whole away from home to check in my son. These cameras make me feel at ease knowing I can have an eye on my son at all times from anywhere. The cameras are viewable from different angles which is also a plus. I can look around the room to see where my son is and pan in if I need to take a closer look. I'd definitely recommend to new mom's and seasoned mom's alike. The 360 degree pan was helpful because my toddler always seems to turn the camera throughout the day.&nbsp; When I realize it is turned I do not want to go back in the room and disturb my son so it was great to swipe right or left and move the camera over to him. My VTech Baby app was easy to install and it connected quickly to the wi-fi.&nbsp; There was no need to hold buttons down and pair each camera.&nbsp; Once the cameras were on it automatically synced.&nbsp; The image was very clear on my phone and with a nightlight the view at night was very clear.&nbsp; I liked that the monitor would change to that camera when motion was detected so you know who is up.&nbsp; The sound could be set to different levels of sensitivity and you could hear it very well at all levels. I liked that you could use multiple cameras on this monitor.&nbsp; My 2.5 year old daughter and 1.5 year old son both have a camera in their room.&nbsp; I can make sure that she stays in her new big girl bed and for him to see when he is ready to get out of his crib. So out of the box they are working on a closed loop at 2.4HGz Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) with the parent unit LCD. You can leave them as is, or you can choose to go to the App store, download the free MyVtech APP, set up an account password, and then go into the Parent Unit and enable WiFi on the camera. If you do this, then the video stream is visible on up to 8 WiFi smart devices (smartphone, laptop, tablet, etc) as well as the Parent Unit which is always active on 2.4GHz(you must have WiFi in your home to enable WiFI).
