This learning phone was no different! I love that it is educational and not just another toy. He can learn his alphabet and his numbers on it which I absolutely love. My daughter is obsessed with any type of phone and she loves paw patrol (what little kid doesn't) so I was happy to see vtech made one with paw patrol. I love that she can have fun with it but also know that she is able to learn new things with the games it has and its always cute to see her walking around talking to her buddies (paw patrol) lol. But my six year old loves playing with it too and has started helping him with it. Overall pretty good! My daughter loves paw patrol and with the ever growing increase in technology playing games on my phone. What better way to combine these two then this awesome LEARNING phone! Not only is it more durable then an actual phone, but it&rsquo;s perfectly sized for children both young and older. The endless buttons allow room to explore the different games and activities (such as math, and matching), the ability to hear messages from the different characters and so much more! I especially love watching my daughter use her imagination and pretend to call and talk to her family and friends. My 3 and 5 year old sons have enjoyed playing the games and being able to talk to their favorite characters. The &quot;chat&quot; feature with the pups is only average, as the characters give a generic response such as &quot;Great!&quot; after you answer their questions. The learning games are quite entertaining though, and help with teaching numbers, matching, and addition/subtraction. It is definitely an activity phone, not just a pretend play phone (which I thought it was going to be). While it does have ringtones, and can play different phrases and questions from the various Paw Patrol characters, I would say the main thing is the learning games/activities. Those games are mostly aimed at teaching numbers-- number recognition, counting, simple addition and subtraction... All in all, my kids are really enjoying it! My two-year-old can play with it, but he doesn't get most of the features. I would say the age range is from about 3-6 years. My almost six-year-old gets the most out of the games, while my four-year-old just enjoys the phone and some counting/numbers.
