It fits over the door really well and the goal folds up when not in use. The sound effects and display are awesome and there are multiple types of games you can play or just free play and it counts how many baskets you make. I've found it isn't 100% accurate for counting baskets but that's not enough to lower the review because it has been such a hit at our house.</span>

There are several different modes of play which is great for my three kids. They like the color challenge the best. You DO have to shoot the ball in a certain way in order for the sensor to count the goal. Sometimes my kids just keep score on their own. This either slides over the back of the door or has an option to mount. So far it's kept my kids super occupied!!</span>

It took them a bit to get used to the height, but they eventually got it or worked out a way to make it work, haha. Overall, it seems to be well built to withstand a lot of play. The hooks work but it tends to move. This might just be because the door is actually used and so it shifts. A little bit of non slip stick on stuff helped it stay in place.</span>

Being able to enjoy some indoor fun on those days when it’s rainy or snowing is a great way to still burn off some of that energy for younger ones. Being a dad that has grown up with door hung basketball hoops I can say I have had a lot of fun sharing in this memory with my kids now. My child is 8 and she really loved being able to learn the basic concept of basketball and not having any pressure from peers.
This Vtech hoop allows for various settings built in and helps to keep score. I also really like how it keeps encouraging the player to keep trying and to not give up through its audible voice play. Well made basketball hoop and the material feels sturdy and durable. The basketball itself is about the size of a softball, but has a nice soft rubbery feel to it. The ball is durable but not light like an airfoam ball.
Loads of fun in our household of a mom, dad, and kiddo. We have it in an open area hung on the door so we can just take a shot whenever we feel like shooting.</span>
