It&rsquo;s cute and very well detailed. The wings not only light up but they move. The eyes light up and change color along with the wings and the adorable flower bud and horn . Comes with a comb and several cute colored barrettes. The magic wand turns the horn, flower bud, wings, and eyes different colors. It takes some practice with the wand to get it to change colors but my seven year old and her friend don&rsquo;t seem to mind. She likes to spend time combing the tail and decorating it! This Vtech Ivy the Bloom Bright Unicorn is so cute for many ages, although Vtech does recommend age 4 and up. Ivy sings, she talks and different part of her body light up and even can change color with a touch. My daughter LOVES to sing duets with her. It's so sweet to hear them sing. Ivy comes with 6 hair clips and a comb too. My daughter doesn't care much to style her mane but I thought it was worth mentioning. She does require 4 double A batteries and 2 triple A batteries so stock up, the batteries she comes with won't last long as they are just for demo. I would absolutely recommend. Our daughter, Liv, is seven years old and loves anything unicorn. The first thing I noticed immediately was how bright and intriguing the packaging is. On every spot of the box there are bright colors and fun pictures to look at. The unicorn has bold, bright colors and it is all visible with the open front packaging. My daughter let out a little scream when she had seen how beautiful the unicorn was. As my daughter was opening up Bloom Bright, I noticed that my two sons were also very excited. They are five and six years old and were just excited to watch the unicorn light up and we opened the packaging. My daughter was excited to see all the clips and brush that was included too. The unicorn has sensors in its horn, wings, and eyes and you are supposed to be able to wave your wand over each one and different things will happen. When my five year old waved the wand her flower bloomed open and he thought it was magic! It was so wonderful to watch the excitement and awe in my children&rsquo;s faces every time they waved the wand and something magical happened. Bloom Bright did many different things every time the wand was waved. I will say that the wand is very finicky. Sometimes it would work but other times I would have to press the gem necklace on her chest to get her started again. There is a flower on top of the head that opens and closes while changing colors when you wave the wand around it. There is a volume control button to make the sounds louder or more quiet. Ivy is fun to play with and is interactive, however, from the description it brings, I guess I expected a little more. Sometimes, Ivy will say to wave the wand around, and when you do, nothing really happens. Other times, it will activate all the colors around her. I also thought there would be a little more variety in the dialog. After a few phrases she just repeats herself. It is a cute toy, very fun for my 4 year old son to play with. A huge plus for this unicorn is that it is so soft and snuggly that even when a child is done playing with it, they can transition to a nap time friend easily. The reason that I give it three stars is due to how fragile the horn and wings feel. No doubt my child loves it, but I am afraid after a few drops on our tile floor that we may have a horse instead of a unicorn. That and some of the electronic components seem to run a bit behind. The wand changes the colors of her eyes, wings and flower all at once or you can change just one thing at a time. She sings 8 different songs, dances to music and to put her to sleep, you tuck her legs under, tap her nose and she is ready for the night after she asks for a lullaby . The unicorn is VERY interactive with lights, songs, and dancing. She loved that you can use the wand to change the light color on the unicorn's horn, eyes, and wings. I was worried it wouldn't be &quot;cuddly&quot; enough since it's not very soft, but it even has a feature where you fold the legs in and it asks for a lullaby lol. She was looking forward to sleeping with it at night, and even the adults were impressed with all that it could do. Unboxing was quick and easy. AA Batteries do come with it but I would recommend putting your own batteries in it. The unicorn is super soft and comes with hair clips, a comb, and a wand. She sings a few different songs. The cutest part is blowing a kiss causing the unicorns mane to light up. It does make subtle movements and you can use the want to change her light up colors. I was hoping it would keep her busy and entertained for the whole three hours. She was sooo excited when I gave it to her and loved using the magic wands make the unicorn exactly as she liked. She liked switching the unicorns eyes and wings especially and I loved how the unicorn gave her positive reinforcement in return. It made her feel good and I love things that boost her confidence. She loved blowing ivy kisses and seeing her flower on her mane bloom. She thought it was so cool and &lsquo;magical&rsquo;. She also loved tucking in ivys feet and snuggling with her. lastly, she did like playing with the tail and putting the clips in it, but there wasn&rsquo;t that much hair to work with. I was hoping that this will entertain her for most of the trip, but instead it entertained her for maybe 30 min and then she was looking for something else to do. This is definitely something cute, with cute catchy sounds and songs, and it&rsquo;s something that she may want to play with but it isn&rsquo;t going to entertain her for long period of time like I hoped. It&rsquo;s a cute toy for little girls to play with and the magic wand definitely makes it funnier to play with, rather than most toys that she has that you control with buttons. It&rsquo;s something different and I see her playing with the magic wand and bossing around her little sister to do things for her.
