The pieces fit like puzzle pieces. It took a bit to get it together but it wasn't hard. My son is so excited racing the cars around this. One car comes with a remote to control it. It does allow you to run it off the track with is pretty cool. It does only go forward and backwards though. This was definitely worth it!</span>
