It is a pain to refill it. The cap that closes the tank is super cheap and is often difficult to open without a cloth. I imagine the plastic will wear thin and no longer work. Otherwise it functions really well. My 3 week old baby was congested and had really dry skin. Once we started to use this we noticed a difference! I&rsquo;m not sure how it purifies the air though. And so I bought it!, I opened her up! and found out...there is no ionization plates inside it. all this cheesy thing does is positively charge the air going through it to land on some other surface around it. YES! this will cause dust and particles to land on surfaces near it but wont actually catch them for convenient clean-up. So on the air purifying aspect I give this a fail, In my opinion if anything says &quot;air purifying&quot; it should actually catch the particles in a controlled manner. Otherwise, yes it puts out a reasonable amount of vapor, and quietly at that. it does have a &quot;night-light&quot; that's very very dim and almost non-existant and it does measure the humidity in the room as well as the temperature, however it states the temperature is 2'c higher than my digital furnace thermostat that's sitting 2 feet above it. All in all, This product is a very expensive humidifier that will cause dust build-up around it. feels cheap in quality/production and barely meets the &quot;Air purifier&quot; status.
