This might be a small playset but there's a whopping 15 different levels for kids to discover and play with - they need to find 2 mini figures, discover hidden temple secrets and treasure, and all while avoiding any traps along the way! The snow seems to be kinetic sand which is super fun, my son loved digging to see what he could find and loved dropping the figures down into it as well. I love that this is a toy has lots of different aspects to it and even brings messy play into the mix too, a massive hit with my little ones! This is definitely something children can play with again and again which is fab. The slime is ultra sticky though so make sure you have some paper towels on hand or a cloth to wipe hands. It would be good if the pyramid came with a lid to keep the slime in, but of course you can use any plastic tub with a lid. Our adventurers loved the slime surprise and the play beyond finding the surprises! This has engaged them in great role play with the figures included. The best bit the whole thing folds away into a neat tower! We can see this being popular on Christmas lists year especially as there are quite a few to collect including frost tower and swamp tower! The frost tower comes with two mini figures that your child needs to find and the tower turns into a frozen trail perfect for little ones to play with and keep occupied for ages once opened . The instructions were easy for my boy to follow and find the parts . My nephew and my boy loved opening it and finding the figurines as well as play with them for ages . Brilliant toy that encourages role-playing and imaginary play. This toy is very well made and of a great quality as it's been dropped few times and is still fine . It's also perfect to take with us when going abroad or short holidays around the UK as it will keep my boy occupied for the plane or car journey . From the time we opened the pack the children lived hollowing ghe instructions to break down the wall to find a micro figure, they smashed and dug in the fake snow to find not only the micro figure but a key to turn the cog above which then revealed a piece of ice. Once all the steps had been followed they enjoyed playing with the tower making up their own games. Great for the imagination. I was a bit skeptical that it would hold their attention after that but they still play with it constantly. The fake snow , which is a sort of a sticky polystyrene like substance has lasted well and doesn't make a mess. It's easy to scoop up and pop back in to the tower to refuse. Small enough to tidy away but lots of fun inside. This set does come with slime, as the lava, which our kids loved. There are different areas you have to figure out and try to discover what's inside. We got two characters, a sword and a big piece of lava gold so to speak, along with two keys to unlock the mystery possible gold. The pieces inside are small and we have misplaced them a few times already, so just make sure that they pop them back afterwards. Kids enjoyed working out how it worked, moving the Playset around and also finding out the characters names too! This would make a great present and I'd happily look at the other sets in the range too. 4 stars just because the small pieces are easily misplaced at times. Plus, not all sets come with gold, as indicated on the front, think that needs to be slightly clearer. From gold coins, drawbridges over lava, swords and secret keys to gold coins LAVA SLIME and freeing more characters it has managed to pack a lot of fun and adventure into a great sized very portable playset, after first use it can be used over and over for imaginative play and endless adventures and challenges, We loved the slime most of all and all the little hidden treats and accessories made it feel really well thought out!
