What boy doesn't like to crush and break parts without getting in trouble? This toy does exactly that. Requires 3 AAA batteries to make many different sounds and lighting. There are ways to unlock different &quot;treasure&quot; pieces and functions. The robot does not move on its own though. I thought it would do more and be more complex based on the descriptions on the box but it still kept my 9-year old busy for about an hour. They loved the digging and crushing. They also loved the slime and the sand inside. The little skeleton dude is their favorite. It would be nice to have the legs with their roller and scooper work. He loved that he could take the pieces off and put them back on. The claw arm was an extra bonus for him because he was able to let the toy freely swing back and forth on our kitchen table.
