Its packaging instantly draws you in and the cute little button case that has the heart and promise inside is lovely to reveal. There were so many WOW moments, the best one when he came alive. The pure joy in my child&rsquo;s face when he first moved his eyes and the sounds he played. It&rsquo;s a magical bear and a life long best friend. My 6 year old has already told me it&rsquo;s hers forever until she has a daughter and it will make her happy to pass it to her ❤️ She enjoys making it laugh, talking to it and tickling his tummy. He&rsquo;s already been on a few adventures with us! I loved how you needed to thread the heart on to the bear in the first instance, this made the playing process more personal for my daughter. She seemed in awe of the button eyes and how they opened and closed and said that he was &lsquo;very snuggly&rsquo; he even had the privilege of visiting granny with us. The reason for 4* instead of 5* was due to his speech, my daughter found it very difficult to understand what it was saying. It's a definite hit in our house! Personally, I loved the packaging, very eye catching to adults and children alike. Loved that the packaging contained very minimal plastic, amazing! We found the instructions easy to follow to set the bear up. Love that it has the option for slow or fast play. We used fast. My daughter's reaction was genuine happiness and joy which was so lovely to see. She loves how cuddly and soft he is, yet he is robust. The sounds he makes are beautiful, a good volume and nice to listen to which really adds to the magic. My daughter was very surprised with how many expressions Thready Bear can make, he's very interactive. So far, she hasn't put him down, he's eaten dinner with her, played in the garden and even tucked up in bed. Definitely her new best friend. We actually don't have any negatives to say! We've had no problems with setting him up and with playing. If I was being very picky, I'd say the only thing I can think of is that the noise of the motor when he makes facial expressions is quite noticeable. But again, not something my daughter has noticed so not a real problem in any way. Overall, we absolutely love our Thready Bear and would definitely recommend him as a gift to other children. My daughter unfortunately, was a little scared of him. She doesn&rsquo;t like his eyes and the movements, she also doesn&rsquo;t understand why he babbles nonsense. &lsquo;Why can&rsquo;t he talk?&rsquo; she asked, frustrated why she couldn&rsquo;t understand him. However one of our cats fell in love with him from the moment he saw him in the box. Nuzzled him and gave him a kiss, several of the others joined in and they adore him. My daughter has given the bear to Vinnie, and she loves that the cat has a best friend bear and Vinnie loves his best friend Thready Bear. Overall I think his head is rather heavy and I do wish he could speak, the eyes are a little bit creepy but I think that&rsquo;s always going to be the case in an interactive bear. He&rsquo;s absolutely gorgeous and well made but the heart is difficult to attach and the lace is thick and difficult to keep on.
