My six year old has fallen in love with Thready. He loves that he can actually interact with her, spinning her to make her laugh and rocking her to make her fall asleep! My 9 year old was less engaged with it and although she was initially excited by her coming alive she quickly got over that excitement and moved on to something else. For 4-7 year olds I think this would be a great toy that would capture their imagination and bring real joy and wonder. However I do think the &pound;59.99 price point is a bit high. The motor sounds when it moves are very loud and despite the packaging noting many different expressions and reactions it seemed to repeat the same 2 or 3 over and over again. The thready bear has over 70 impressions and the more she plays with it the more we see him do. He comes to bed every night just be aware he can wake up and make noises in the night so best to take him out of the bed when your child sleeps. From my kids point of view they both adore and love Thready Bear. From opening him up, to saying the promise, you also get to thread the heart on. Our son realised his heart glows red and the more you play and interact, the more he does! Ye has lots of fun movements, noises and is genuinely a friend to bring on adventures. He is quite heavy, and you can hear the movements when he opens and closes his eyes, tilts his head etc, but kids don't notice or pay any attention to this. The story inside giving ideas of fun to have with thready are great. We've managed to take him to the park and ducks, on our bikes and also a Teddy bears picnic! You're only limited to your imagination. There's a sleep setting too so that the kids know thready needs his bed which is lovely. He is always tucked in so nicely and it's become a lovely routine for bedtime with the kids. Overall thready is fun, has lots of ways to play, is really robust and durable. Kids love spinning him around to see what he'll do! The small booklet showing examples of adventures is a great little addition. As is the giant button to keep that his very own heart came in. This cuddly bear has taken me by surprise. Just when I thought all stuffed animal toys were the same, this one has come along and blown us away. It's almost like he is alive! Thready has fit in perfectly with my seven year old's family of toys. He has not only brought out her nurturing side but has also taught her how to be gentle and mindful of others' feelings. His cute button heart lights up, he is sensitive to how you treat him (cries if he is thrown around or one is rough with him) and has more than 70 emotions. And those eyes, I am so impressed with how they scrunch up to make Thready's emotions feel all the more real. Definitely a bear for life. My boys were very lucky to be gifted Thready Bear who is an interactive Bear who truly comes to live after his promise Thready once you have threaded his heart and tied it on... Thready has 70+ interactive sounds, Thready's heart lights up and is made up from a knitted fabric and lovely browns, blues and purples, however due to Thready being so interactive keep in mind Thready does have a hard head but despite this Threafy truly makes the perfect best friend for little ones of all ages as you can see from my video... Thready laughs and giggles whrn happy, cries when sad or hurt and even seek out comfort, you can rock and put Thready to sleep and so much more... One thing my boys absolutely love is taking Thready out for walks in the Pram because for the whole journey Thready shouts out &quot;Weeeee&quot; and giggles with laughter, Thready also does this in car rides but often falls asleep in the car just like a most children do too, Thready listens in on conversations and talks back, Thready is super interactive and bring so much joy to all... Thready has been on all sorts of Journeys with up such are trips to the park, to and from school and nursery, shopping, visiting family and friends and so much more, Thready has become part of the family, everyone who meets Thready becomes obsessed and amazed at how interactive he is and falls in love with him, taking him out sparks so many conversations and has convinced so many people to go and buy one to out away for their child for Christmas or birthday...
