My boys were delighted to own a train with Chinese origin. Their previous favorite was Hiro. The quality and detailed paintwork on Yong Bao did not disappoint! Both my 7 and 2 year old built tracks and played with him for several hours straight out of the box. The Thomas and Friends collection of wooden trains has been in our family since my oldest was 2 years old. They are durable and are beautifully detailed. They run very smoothly on wooden tracks and hard surfaces alike. My boys have so much fun with the magnets that allow us to connect the trains together, so easy even for a 2 year old to quickly grasp. Both my 8 year old son and 3 year old daughter love playing with him. It&rsquo;s made of wood and is very sturdy, it&rsquo;s brightly colored with lots very cute detail. It&rsquo;s 5.5 inches long and it&rsquo;s made of wood but the wheels are made of plastic. Yong Bao has very detailed beautiful face. The body of the train has great construction. It comes in two parts and it sticks thru their magnets. I like that it&rsquo;s made of wood and no matter how many times my baby throws it, still it&rsquo;s in great shape. He travels easily on our train table and connects well with our other steam engines and train carts. My child could not wait to get her hands on it. She snatched it before I could take it out of the packaging. After, I did get it out she ran away with it to play with it. I love the design of the train. It is intricate and interesting to look at. The wood material is sturdy. My child tends to break things. I think this will be hard for her to destroy, which is a good thing. The magnets on each end is awesome because I can add to them later with other Thomas trains. It is easy to pull the tail end of train a part and put back together. My daughter did it several times with ease. The colors are eye catching and beautiful. My child played with this train for hours and even went to bed with it next to her. So it is definitely a hit with her.
