The box that holds the tracks is great to keep the space organized or even travel with. The color is great for both boys and girls. It is well made but also lightweight &amp; easy to put together. My 3-9 year old kids put this together themself and played with it for hours. They like making different configurations for the tracks. Although the train is not included but this track will work with most motorized Thomas the train. The track is very long. My kids love to watch it go round and round. Very happy with this. Definitely recommend this if your kids love trains. This toy lets you explore your child build their imagination and creativity by connecting tracks in different combinations. Pros: 1. Everything fits in a beautiful small carrying container. So you dont have tracks all over the place to put in multiple containers. 2. The container is completely functional as part of the tracks as well. The top serves as a junction for the tracks and the bottom serves to create ramps for the trains. 3. Additional tracks are able to be added on from additional Thomas sets. 4. Both of the Thomas trains (push and motorized) fit the tracks. Cons: 1. The tracks tracks are a bit challenging for my kiddos to pull apart which becomes frustrating for them. 2.The bridges that stabilze the higher tracks continuously fall down. This set comes with both a lid and base that convert for use with the track system, giving you an awesome mountain, tunnel and cross track to play with! They're compatible with other Fisher-Price Thomas sets (of course), allowing your little one to build to their hearts content. The amount of pieces included is great too, as you can use this set as a stand alone with no fear of your kittle one getting bored. I love that it fits in a nice case and it&rsquo;s pretty easy to put together my kids are age 2, 3, and 6 and they all played with this. It was a bit hard for them to connect the pieces so I worry they won&rsquo;t hold up to their roughness when connecting. It&rsquo;s easy to fit back in the container so I appreciated that since it doesn&rsquo;t take up a lot of room. My kids drove trains as well as cars on it and had a lot of fun. I love how the storage container is part of the play experience. The lid turns into part of the track and the bin that holds the pieces flips over to be a tunnel as well. Plus it has tracks on the bottom so it&rsquo;s part of the experience as well if you use the bridge structures. How GENIUS and so much fun!!! The set is large and the possibilities are endless but it does come with three easy to follow instructions for building three tracks. The pieces are clearly labeled on the bottom of the track as well as on the instructions. My four year old is able to follow along and help snap the tracks together. I noticed the bridge support snaps into the tracks securely which is great! You can build up to 3 track layouts. I think the packaging is efficient as the top and bottom are part of the set up. The train tracks can be put together easily; they snap together and pull apart without much effort. It&rsquo;s fun to divert trains. It comes with instructions of 3 different ways you can build the track. The instructions are clear enough that my 8 year old can put it together by herself. I like that the track pieces can be put in the box when not in use. The one thing I didn&rsquo;t like is that it doesn&rsquo;t come with any trains. He absolutely loves it! The fact that there are three different configurations is great as it gives him opportunities to play with it differently without getting bored of it. The directions are fairly easy to follow and the pictures are very clear to help with assembling the layouts. The track stays together very well. I also love how easily everything packs away into the tunnel for easy storage! I also love that it is compatible with other playsets, so we could add to this set if we wanted to. The only downside, or part that concerned me was that it can sometimes be tricky to put the track pieces together or take them apart. They can sometimes stick a little and I try to be careful as i don't want to break any of the tabs off. They love to go on train rides, watch train shows, go to model train shows and of course play with toy trains. They also love Thomas and Friends. My boys were excited to receive this set especially because their cousin has a compatible set they've played with and have asked for their own. We previously have only owned wooden trains and tracks. This set is an expansion pack and doesn't come with Motorized Thomas and Friends trains/tinders. My husband has wanted to get our boys motorized trains and this was the perfect time to order some. While waiting for the trains to arrive we started to build with track. We did realize that wooden trains seem to work well on this track. My 6 six year old is able to connect the track pretty easily. He does struggle a little bit at times. My 4 year old is not able to connect to the track yet. I think with time and practice he will be able to. My husband is mostly the one building for the boys. The directions come with 3 ways to build. I wish there were more pieces because my 6 year old loves to build and be creative. I think if we were to purchase other sets this would be achievable. I love that this set comes with a storage bucket that is also part of the track. I hate when I have to go buy storage containers for sets. The bucket forms a bridge and tunnel. In true Fisher Price fashion this toy seems durable and will last for years. I appreciate toy companies that have quality products because kids are rough on things. I thought we didn't pull the play set out of the paclage, so I triple checked. I do like how it&rsquo;s easy to store all the pieces together. I have toddlers so right now my kids are very good at helping me put it together. It did take me awhile to put one of the tracks together. It did not come with the part for the train light sticker. And I think it&rsquo;d be beneficial to included at LEAST one train compatible with this set of tracks because I had to go searching my house for a train that worked with the tracks.
