This playset was very easy for the kids to assemble and brings hours of entertainment for them replaying movie scenes as well as making up their own play time fun. This set opens up which is really neat and comes with Mario and Peach mini figures as well. Everyone, including the adults love all things Mario and Luigi related. The castle folds up easily for storage and the figures and castle all have adorable detail to them. We got this set for him since he's such a fan now. He absolutely loved it. He has spent hours playing with this set! We have already gotten him two more of these playsets to go along with it. They are super easy to open and assemble. He was playing with it within five minutes. We for sure recommend these sets for your Mario fans or collectors. They have played with it a lot. We like that you can arrange the bricks in different places, and get a lot of play time out of it. The only thing I don't like is that the figurines are too small. We recently lost Mario, and Princess Peach's head has also gone missing. She loves the type of games that she can open and close and interact with them and this is just the perfect one for that. My only drawback is that the pieces are a bit small and we have to be careful and be with her at all times when she is playing because she is small and also there is an even younger baby at home and need to be careful with the small pieces. Even when we remove the small pieces, she enjoyes playing with the castle and making her own stories and games. The material is a hard plastic that is not easy to break. It has some pieces that you can play with like moving up or down, pulling forward, etc. so they have enough to play with and get entertained. This is a adorable and very pretty castle. You can also open it while playing with it and close it to either store it away, put it on a shelf or take away on outings. I highly recommend this toy.
