The battery stopped holding a charge and then the charge cord stopped working altogether. Summer infant customer service is helpful. I suggest not buying early as you only get a years warranty from date of purchase. The video quality is great but it’s just too bad that it didn’t last longer than 6 months.</span>

<span itemprop="description">The camera is great and the picture is clear in the day or night. A lot of features that are useful, especially the zoom. I’ve used the 6 stage zoom many of nights because my child didn’t move for awhile so I wanted to see them breathing.
My only complaint is the battery. It worked great for awhile and lasted a long time once charged but now it doesn’t last more than 10 minutes off the charger.
Hopefully they upgrade there battery supplier soon. It’s an expensive camera and the battery doesn’t hold up to that cost.
Unfortunately I can’t find a replacement battery anywhere. I wonder if this is a common problem?</span>

<span itemprop="description">This monitor is everything you want in keeping your children safe. Until the year warranty goes and it become awful. You need to buy a new battery every 12-15 months. They don’t tell you that until you ask why the battery doesn’t work. The cameras night vision will just stop and you won’t be able to see your child clearly and they just recommend you buy a new camera for 140.00 plus shipping and taxes. They are no help for their loyal customers. It’s sad and disheartening.</span>

<span itemprop="description">At the beginning we were able to use the battery for at least one 2 hour nap, now it can’t be unplugged for more than 15 minutes before he starts beeping. Very frustrating and disappointing. The kick stand easily snapped off, and there was no reason for it to have broken so easily. Disappointed with the battery and unable to prop up the monitor. There are so many more on the market, so I guess I wouldn’t recommend this one. The quality of the camera and volume are fantastic though. If this lasted I would’ve loved it.</span>

<span itemprop="description">We have owned this monitor for almost a year. A month or so after using it the monitor just stopped working. Wouldn’t stay turned on or paired with the camera. Contacted customer service and they sent a new monitor. Then when we tried syncing the new monitor and camera the camera wouldn’t detect night vision so we couldn’t see our daughter. Then they sent us a new camera.
Worked well for a few months and then this past weekend randomly the night vision button completely broke and wouldn’t not allow the camera to turn on and sync to monitor. I loved this monitor because it was SO CLEAR and kept a good charge on the monitor but who can handle a broken system constantly. At least they had good customer service. This past weekend we decided to not even try and contact cutout service about this and went and bought a different brand. Very disappointing because the picture quality is not as great but we need a reliable camera.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This monitor was used for less than 10 months. The battery is dead. Since it is outside the 1 year manufacturer warranty nothing is covered. In chatting with a representative, I learned that all of their batteries need to be replaced in 12-15 months ($20+tax and shipping). This monitor was minimally used, and at the price, should have a battery that lasts longer than 1 year.
The video is great and I love the monitor for everything else, but I would not buy this product again. Extremely disappointing!!</span>

For some reason a few weeks ago the range dropped to nothing. Even across the hall in my room it struggles to be "in range," so I can't do things like cook dinner while my baby naps and have the monitor in range anymore. It's pretty disappointing.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I bought this monitor with 2 cameras in October 2019 and we loved them. Picture was great, sound and motion alerts were very helpful. Now one of the cameras stopped syncing overnight. Tried resetting both monitor and camera multiple times, nothing works.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I bought this a month ago because my baby is transitioning to his crib. I have used it a couple times and it seemed to be great. Then one night it was working and I was trying to zoom in and all the sudden the connection was lost and I tried everything to repair the monitor and try to get a connection to see my son. I am now having to sleep on his floor since the camera isnt working. Im not happy at all. I've watched video after video and read the instruction manual and nothing has helped.</span>

Yes, you can add up to a total of 4 cameras. The Baby Pixel Zoom HD 5.0 Inch High Definition Video Monitor is compatible with the Baby Pixel Zoom HD Extra Camera. The monitor battery life is 4 to 6 hours.
