I feel like it would frustrate him more if they didn’t move. Overall great purchase and I would highly recommend!</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Step2 Rising River Water and Ball Table is a favorite of both my 1-and-a-half-year-old son and 3-and-a-half-year-old daughter. This is the perfect sensory toy, as it involves water with cause-and-effect play. My kids love splashing water, placing the plastic balls in the tower and rolling them down, and launching the balls in the air with the flipper attachments. It is the perfect gift for spring and summer. Clean-up is super easy with the drain plug on the bottom of the table (no leaks). Assembly was a little tricky, but not too hard with the instructions and a drill. I love the large and open design of this, as well as all of the colors. The balls are a bit hard to keep track of, as the kids love to take them across the yard or in the house. The two cups that come with this are very useful - the kids like to use them for pouring water, collecting bugs or flowers, and storing snacks. My only complaint is that the tower is too easy to remove - I wish that there was some sort of locking mechanism on the bottom (like snaps) so that kids are less likely to grab and remove it from the water table. My 1.5 year old loves to do this and it frustrates my 3.5-year-old.</span>

Very easy to clean and great for indoor and out door play. So much fun because the balls themselves are such a feature. They can move the balls all around, fill it with just a little water or a lot, and participate together. My two children and I played with it for a good 45 minutes when it first arrived, and when I snuck inside, my children didn't notice I was gone and continued playing really nicely together for some time.
Since we've gotten it, this is been played with frequently by my two and three-year-old. My children love them, and this is a particularly fun variant. Highly recommend!</span>

My only complaint is the water wheel on the front doesn’t spin when the water comes down the slide. The water misses it by about a half inch or so. My kids were entertained with all the other things to do, so the water wheel didn’t even phase them. I love that the top piece comes off. Might be inconvenient for kids, but for parents it makes it very easy to clean.</span>

My only, very picky feedback, is that it would be great if you could somehow secure the tower in. My two year old finds the balls frustrating because it takes a LOT of scooping and pouring to get the water to push them out and he just doesn’t have the patience. It will probably be better when he’s older. I also wish it had a little more space for just open water play. I like that you can lift off the middle section and just play with the table base. Sometimes we do that and he can put his toy cars in and play that way. Overall it’s a really nice product but for my son’s age it’s a little advanced for free play.</span>
