It was easy to lay out all of the pieces and hardware. Assembly took about 3 hours with no major issues. Our son, who is 2, &quot;helped&quot; us combine all the sections then went right to the slides when it was finished. He'll play on it for 15-30 minutes then move onto something, but that's how most 2 year olds are right now. It's nice to have something in the yard to play with outside and it's great for having other friends over. The climber is pretty sturdy and a nice size. Hopefully he gets 2 summers out of if before he gets too big. He is already just about at the height of the openings to the sections so he'll have to duck into it soon. He loves it. He loves climbing up and running back and forth over the bridge and looking out the windows! The dual slides are great for when there are other kids around. Only downsides are the floors seem to be flimsier than the walls and the lengthy assembly. Took my husband and me over six hours!! But seeing grandson's face was well worth every minute of assembly. They love their new climber... they call it their train.To help with the assembly, I sorted out all of the screws and bolts into a labeled ziploc baggies and have a powered up screw driver available.My co worker and I assembled the climber in about 4 hours non stop. We were proud that we did it and the children enjoyed watching as we put it together. A good sized climber, a one year old looks small on it but not unsafe so plenty of room to grow. Climbing on, crawling through or just hanging on , the kids were entertained. I especially like that as long as this is on a safe surface none of the heights are so high you feel like you have to hover over the smaller ones. The instructions were a bit confusing need to be put together in a booklet so you are not searching for the next direction.
