We did not use the bottom portion for water, it seemed to get in the way for our boys to access the whole table. Over all our 3 and 9 year olds were able to play together since the table is larger than most. It is perfect for my 7 year old and 3 year old. There are so many things to do and play with. First, both tubs hold a large amount of water!!! Next, the sprinkler is great! It isn't a small one that barely sprays. Watch out because you will get hit with this one. The bottom tub is a nice size. My daughter sat in it and splashed around. It also comes with accessories. The boats are on wheels. You can put them on the slide and roll them down into the water. My youngest loved doing this over and over while watching them splash into the water. Also included are a strainer, a bucket and an umbrella! I love that it stores so nicely. You put the blue, top tub, on top of the green, bottom tub, and they sit nicely together. When you finish playing, pull the drain plug and it drains pretty well. You do have to make your own holes to screw everything in. Other than that, the assembly was pretty easy. Overall, we are so happy with the water table. Two things set this apart from a regular water table (which we also have). First, there is a small pool for water which pulls out. My daughter absolutely loved this and played just as much in the small green pool than she did with the blue part. Also, it has an awesome water sprayer. This was a huge hit. I&rsquo;m not sure if we just have good water pressure, but we could make the spray go very high - which she loved. It is adjustable and you can lower the spray as well. These two things really make this design unique and I think this will definitely be the water table she plays with all summer going forward. The toys it came with are really nice and the umbrella is a bonus. All the activities on the blue part were fun for my daughter. The entire product was very well made and I feel it will last a long time. I liked that the green part can be stored under the blue part to save space. The assembly wasn&rsquo;t difficult. To save time, you may want to use a drill. It is very sturdy and kept all the sand in the box...with the exception of tossing a bit out because kids. We also tried it out with water first just to wash it and it held the water just fine.
