The children love it! Unfortunately, someone jumped our fence and jumped our fence and landed on the lid and it cracked in several places. The plastic is very durable, holds 6 large bags of play sand purchased from any hardware store, but above all, the lid is what has me raving about this product. We live out in the country so it gets very windy in the open space. It has never leaked water nor has the lid blown off. Our child loves it.
