I had the Neat and Tidy cottage over 10 years ago and can compare to this version which has a couple of changes: 1) the grill - pretty cute feature 2) it comes with a phone but not the built-in phone holder that the Neat and Tidy cottage had 3) the pillar with the doorbell fits poorly to the frame and rattles. Lots of fun when little ones figure that out but a design flaw that has not been fixed in over a decade. Overall this is a super entertaining playhouse.
