No floor either. For the price, it's not worth it. We purchased this one in store so we wouldn't have to deal with on-line returns if they would be needed. They only offered one other one to choose from in the store, so we had to pick this one. We go it home and found it was missing pieces. We had to go back to the store and get a different one. This is the 2nd Step 2 product that we purchased and both now have been missing items, VERY disappointed in Step 2 and Toys-r-Us customer service. The previous product we purchased was a kitchen and I ordered it on-line. When that was missing pieces, I was on hold with Toys r us customer service for 45 minutes. The kids love all the different features of the house - grill, potting toys, water pump. I love how open this house is so I can see exactly what's going on in there. The house is really spacious - me and my 50 lb dog fit in there with them too! My husband didn't have any trouble putting it together really quickly. I'm so glad I didn't spend more money - this house is perfect and an excellent price! As I started putting the first pieces together he was going in and out of the door. His favorite part is the water feature. The house is really easy to put together, I did it by myself because my husband was at work. There is a lot of room for growth and I know it will foster imagination. The reason for only four stars is two problems: 1) one of the large screws that is needed to hold one of the walls is positions in an area that makes it necessary to use a short screwdriver. Fortunately my husband is a sort of handyman and we have screwdrivers. However, it was frustrating to be able to get everything else put together and have to dig through tools to get this one finished. 2) the lid for the grill is a joke!!! It is kept in place by a plastic flap screwed together. It's really flimsy plastic and doesn't seat squarely over the grill. Called and Step 2 immediately sent a replacement. We probably won't use dirt for the potting side. That side is our least favorite and wish there was something else on that side. The grill lid is cheap and probably won't last long. I think it would have made more sense to have that open from the inside? We've only had for about a month and he loves it.
