She just turned 4 and we needed to find a bigger bed for her. I love that it's still pretty low to the ground and the light at the top of the castle. The assembly and hole drilling really wasn't difficult for us. The screws bored in just fine. This is also her first big bed. She just loves it! It was very easy to out together. My husband and son had it together in about an hour and they felt it was very sturdy. The hunky board fit perfectly and hold the mattress perfectly. I did follow the recommendations and got a mattress that wasn't too high over the edge of the bed so she wouldn't fall. Also, I see that these beds keep their value. Aesthetically though, I will probably replace this in a year to something more classy.
