I don&rsquo;t think he is overly loud, I think he&rsquo;s the same level as most toys. He&rsquo;s easy to use and control and definitely fun to play with. Our favorite part is when he lifts up his finger and shakes. Definitely funny and cute. My daughter loves to take him on walks in the kitchen. She also loves the noises he makes. It has a rubber material head, fabric arms and hands with a plastic body which is covered with a cushioned fabric then his coat over the top. His head, ears and arms move robotically. He is also remote controlled and will move forwards, backwards and turn with the use of the wrist controller which is provided. There is a button on his chest which cycles through his functions, however you cannot choose the function he performs without the use of the controller. The controller has 5 different coloured soft rubber buttons which each perform a different function. (My children really love the purple button in which Yoda uses the force). The toggle in the centre controls which way he moves. The controller takes 2 AAA batteries (not included). The wrist strap is a fabric material which you secure with Velcro so fits a range of wrist sizes. Yoda is very responsive and as long as you are pointing the controller at him all of his functions work without issue from over 12ft away. As expected on a thick rug his movements are extremely sluggish and he struggles to move. However, on a standard carpet he is able to move although his movements are slower than if he is placed on solid surface. Overall this is a really great toy which has left my children arguing over who can play with it first. It's like they stuck a Baby Yoda on top of a monster truck RV car, the mechanics and the movement are crazy loud.. Basicaly drowning out the sound effects. We bought one and had to take it back. And when it does the hand wave to use the force, it vibrates violently.
