I've only seen the first few original Star Wars movies so I don't know this particular character but this reminds me of R2D2 with orange on its head instead of blue plus it makes different noises instead of the high pitched beeps. I would say this is a successful toy. It is a very simple toy; you tilt the head one way and it is happy; another way and it is sad and a third way and it is confused. Just a bunch of chirps and beeps in the style of the Star Wars character Chopper. It sounds just like the character and is an amusing toy. So amusing that my child tilts the toys head over...and over...and over. So, for fans of star wars toys, I'd say it is a hit.
