Here is my honest review of this product. It is a very basic rowing machine made in China. I bought it in case of another lock down with gyms clossed. It offers the user a fair rowing experience but does not compare with commercial grade rowers like the ones you find at the gym. It is very usful to own so you can get a full cardio workout at home with no impact. It is very easy to assable and fold in half in between uses. Unfortunately it has it's draw backs. If you are at a hight of 6 feet or more you will notice that the handles will be hitting your knees as you row. The base of the rower is designed to slope downwards on a slight angle in order to compensate for it's smaller size. You will need to adjust your grip and they way you use it in order to get the best use out of it. Again not your gym rower. Cannot adjust the resistance on the wheel, but wind resistance determines your workout. Although it has some padding, it is very hard. After about 3 minutes you are uncomfortable. After about 5 minutes your own seat hurts. I'd like to stay on it for about 15 minutes but there's no way I can do that because of the seat. I tried putting a folded towel on the seat but that didn't work because it slipped off. I was looking for something that provided a rigorous non-impact workout to help with the stress and pounding put on our ankles and knees. I work out 5-6 days per week typically running about 25-30 miles throughout. I have an exercise bike that helps with the non-impact but was looking for something additional. After using the rowing machine i noticed I wasn't even sweating or breathing heavy. The motion back and forth was smooth but just didn't feel light i was getting a good sweat going or burning calories, nor was the feel of toning with pulling on the row stick. Better cardio workout comes from an elliptical.
