She has been very into horses lately and was so excited for this one to arrive. I have to say that the packaging was pretty intense, it was tough to get the horse out, but once we did she loved her. The horse is a great size, big enough to have other dolls/figures &quot;ride&quot; her, but small enough to fit in a backpack and be carried in a basket on her bike. The horse is durable and well made, my daughter loves to brush the mane and tail. We have started looking at other horses in this collection to add to our &quot;herd&quot;. We got 2 of them, this chestnut one and a black one. My kids are 4 and 6, a girl and boy, and they both enjoy these horses. He loved that the head could move. He played pretty rough with it, and it is still in great shape. The flowing mane is a nice realistic touch. It was easy enough for him to remove from the package.But, he was not able to figure out the plastic holding the hair.
