It came with some accessories like a brush, bag and apple that she noticed right away. Compared to some of our daughters other toys, the hair on the doll and horse was easy to brush. The articulation on the doll and the horse are excellent. Even the horse&rsquo;s head can move around. Instead of a saddle there is a clear cradle that can hold the doll on so she can ride it. The cradle held the doll in place pretty well during play. One of my daughters favorite things to do was add this set to her farm set. Cross play with other types of toys is excellent including the scale of the toy. The toy is also really well constructed and made of high quality materials. My daughter loves that she finally has her own horse. It was easy to remove the from the packaging only section holding the hair in place needed cutting which was difficult not to cut the actual hair. They did leave a slight crease in the hair but nothing that distracted from the toy itself. The fact the doll could sit effortlessly on the back of spirit made it easy to play with so Lucky didn't fall off. Something like sound when brushing Spirits hair or feeding him would be a very welcome addition to the interactive experience of this toy. They made up an imaginary game right away after seconds and loved the idea of feeding the horse. The horse was played with alot more than the rider, but they loved both. The accessories were great and both boys started combing the horses long Maine, that and the tail were both played with. One issue was they were pretending to feed the horse the apples, then then put them into the bag and they got stuck, I had to get them out with a flat screwdriver. Same with the com both got stuck in the bag. this is an issue with the toys overall experience. The horse also doesn&rsquo;t stand up well on its own, I would suggest some movement in the legs. overall they really enjoyed playing with the toys and still do after a week, they have some longeivity. I do think the accessory&rsquo;s need some work.
