This is a really cute toy and I would imagine that it would provide hours of fun and entertainment for a little one. This package includes 1 truck, 2 crates and 3 collectibles. The idea of the Smash Crashers truck is to crash the truck so that the contents can be revealed. I am not sure how long the truck would hold up under normal play because it is built of plastic. My kid keeps bugging me for more pieces in the set, so it looks like I will be on the hunt for more of these toys. These trucks are brightly colored and are designed so that the vehicles have animated expressions on their fronts. The trucks come with 2 boxes that fit inside, with collectible goodies in the boxes. When the truck is smashed into the wall, the boxes come tumbling out and you can open them to find out which goodies you got. My sons thought it was a lot of fun to crash the truck and have the boxes pop out. The vehicles seem to be built to stand up to that type of play. Definitely the perfect size for a stocking stuffer or Easter basket gift. They are made from super soft material. Smash Crashers are so different than many other products out in the market right now. The inside of the truck fits both crates. Put the crates in the truck and crash the truck into something and watch the door fling open and the crates pop out! He even drew himself a bullseye on a piece of paper, taped it to a plastic box and made a game of crashing it over and over again. The figures are perfect for boys who get a kick out of gross things. He received 3 figures; 1 from Horrible Housewares, 1 from Bathroom Brigade and 1 from Schoolyard Scrappers. He usually attaches 1 figure to 1 of the notches on top of the truck and loads the other 2 back into the crates and into the back of the truck to crash again. My favorite part of this toy is that it is more than just a collectible he enjoys unboxing once, then sets it on his shelf. He has been playing with this truck over and over again and has asked for another so he can crash them into each other. The wooden crates are built out of a heavier duty type of plastic. The little characters are soft and almost rubbery.
