We had some great laughs, with their heads popping off. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of each mech, as they seem to be about 9in tall. Very sturdy and well built, considering it is a hard plastic. With this said, I would not place these on a table, because if one falls over, it may break. My 6 year old absolutely loves playing this remote control fighting bot toy, Jib and Jab. He loves playing it with his friends, but nothing gives him greater joy than beating his Dad at the game. He also practices with the bot by himself so he is sure to beat Dad! When you hit your opponent in the chest, the pilot ejects out of the bot, along with lots of lights and sounds . So fun! I suppose what is old gets a refresh and is cool again. The remote controls take a bit of getting used to but once you&rsquo;ve mastered that then let the fun begin. Objective is to hit your robot opponent 2x in the chest and watch their head fly off. This set keeps us entertained for hours during family fun night. Had to deduct one star since the set takes so many batteries just to operate (10 in total across 2 different sizes). Yikes! Firstly, the remote controls were a source of major frustration. The buttons were not intuitively designed, making it quite challenging to operate. Secondly, I was disappointed by the limited range of movements that the robots could execute. Despite being billed as a 'fighting set', the robots' movements were restricted to basic directions - forward, backward, and turning. These are actually even better since you can run away and regroup like little mini battle bots, you're not stuck in a ring just ponding on each other. Our kids think they're hilarious and love playing with them, until the heads/mini-person comes flying off, then they start all over again.
