The left, right, and combo punches make for a dynamic battle, and trying to hit the opponent&rsquo;s chest plate twice to launch their pilot adds an exciting layer of strategy. One aspect that particularly impressed me is the cutting-edge robotics and infrared technology incorporated into these fighters. It's like holding a piece of advanced tech right in your palms! The single-player mode is a great addition for honing your skills, and it's been a useful feature for me to get a leg up on my friends during our duels. However, I was a bit disappointed to find that batteries were not included with the product. Given that each robot and remote requires 3 &quot;AA&quot; and 2 &quot;AAA&quot; batteries respectively, it would have been more convenient if they were part of the package. My boys (9&amp;11) had more fun just racing them around than they did actually fighting each other. They are made very well and the stomach button is sensitive and will send the head flying. It can be hard to maneuver the robots close together to actually hit each other. The controls would be a lot for a younger child than mine to properly use as intended. They might have more fun just using them as remote control robots. It will work on carpet, but will move a lot quicker on hardwood floors. If you&rsquo;re looking for a simple remote control robot, get them. The first thing that we love about it is the design. The toys are very stable and don't fall easily. I love that it comes with two dolls so more than one kid can play at the same time and the wireless controller is also very efficient. The sounds made by the toys are not too loud that can bother us adults. I can see my kids playing with it for hours and I love it. They don't get tired of it and they bring their friends to play with it also. It is easy to put together and connect and the controls work. Also, the head springing out of the robot is kinda cool! However the movement is a bit clunky, so don't expect accuracy when trying to control the robot via the remote.
