<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You know kids always seem to want to play with their phone, remote, or pad, but they know when it's not working (taking the batteries out of the remote doesn't fool them into thinking it's a real remote). This solves some of that. The fact that the buttons appear to do something keeps kids entertained. Adding the bonus of having recognizable Sesame Street faces and voices makes it hold your attention a little longer. Elmo, Abby, Cookie and Ernie will talk to your son while putting pressure on him.
When they get older, they'll realize it's a phone, they'll put it to their ear and talk on it too. I think it can definitely be used for some time, but I think it will gradually fall out of favor with other more exciting toys. I probably wouldn't recommend it before one year because it's a bit heavy and big for that age. probably 15-18 months is a good time for them to start playing with it and get going.</span>

The only problem is he has clocked himself with elmo's nose a few times when putting it up to his head. I had to teach him to do it slowly so he didn't keep hurting himself. Other than that its a good gift for a little.</span>
