The moving sea life with music keeps my little one entertained until he falls sleep. The colors on the soother are bright but when the lights turn off to his room and we turn the soother on it&rsquo;s just bright enough to watch the moving sea life without being too bright. As a mom, my favorite thing about this soother is how easy it is to change the batteries. You are able to slide it off it&rsquo;s base, change them out, and then slide it back until it snaps. No worrying about hard to attach and detach straps. Great battery life too. It looks like the sea creatures are swimming when they move around. It plays sweet lullabies and has a nice backlight so he can see them well in the dark. He enjoys watching them and they help him to calm down and get sleepy. You can attach to the crib or have it free standing. We put his up on a shelf because he doesn't like things close up. I also like that there is a volume control button. He doesn't like loud music or sounds so we keep it on the lower volume. It has a button on the front that looks like a star that you can press to turn on and off or you can use the remote if you don't want to come in the room to turn it off. Its great for babies who wake up easily. That way you don't walk in and disturb their sleep. It reaches up to 12 feet away! We love it. This is really a lifesaver for me as this helps my little one with his night-time sleep issue. This soother can be used as either a stand-alone or crib mounted or in the car back seat, I am using it as a stand-alone as my baby is a fussy sleeper and doesn't stay in the crib most of the times. Mounting is simple, just wrap the holder on the crib frame and slide securely the soother in the mount. This has a couple of sound settings, one is regular and the other is slightly louder. Four different sound options are available with lights on or off. The good thing is it has an on-off button at the front too which can be used by the baby as well. The remote control allows accessing the soother once it is off after the default time is over. This really helps the baby to fall asleep easily and they wake up refreshed. The initial timer is for 25 minutes but can be played again using the remote. The baby really likes to watch the sea animals moving while the music is on. My little one loves this toy, we have been using this for more than a week and so far it works very well. This is portable so you can take it on vacation too. I love this soother toy very much this has been a great addition to our baby toy collection. I would highly recommend it. Overall a great quality product. This would be a great gift for babies, infant, toddlers to sleep better. It can be mounted to the side of a crib but we place ours on a shelf near the crib. I love this option, as it makes it easy to carry from one room to another. It can function many different ways: it can be lit up with motion and sound (ocean noise or music) or just used as a sound machine! This is perfect because it can transition into only being a sound machine as the baby grows older. I also love that there is a button on the front that baby can learn to use to switch the machine on and off. There is a remote for parents to turn the machine off from the doorway as well. I love this feature! The machine will run for 25 minutes and then slowly switch off features. It's the perfect amount of run time to sooth baby to sleep! My toddlers really love this soothing machine as well, so sometimes I use it for them during nap time! There are two volume controls but I find it a little loud on the lowest setting. Although the volume and lights decreases in 10-minute increments, I wish I can adjust the volume to my liking; a dial volume control will work better. You can use this with no lights, no motion, just music/white noise, or you can play it all together. My son loves to play everything, though the battery life is great, I think it would be a great addition if you have the option to plug it in. It came with an infrared remote control and you can also turn it on and off with the star button on the toy (my son gets up to turn it on using this) and control the lights with the button on the top right. The crib attachment design is great, after installing, you have an option to leave the attachment and just take off the toy so you do not need to re-adjust the next time you hook it up. Also, 4 C batteries were included and already installed on the toy, mine came in with no defects and corrosion. It is a great soother overall. I highly recommend! This is one of the few toys my baby actually uses as a new baby. It is very easy to assemble and comes with a little cute remote that requires some batteries. The strap at the back can be adjusted to fit your crib. We are training our baby to go from sleeping in a bedside bassinet to a crib and we put this on for him at night. The blue light also serves as a night light for us which is an added plus. Within minutes he is able to fall asleep on his own. We love the size of this product because it fits perfectly on our crib. We love this crib soother and would purchase this to gift all the new babies in our family. I have 2 kids and am EXTREMELY easy going when it comes to things breaking. THIS PIECE OF JUNK BROKE IN 8 DAYS. The thing just shuts off and resets after 4 seconds, just continuously off-on-off-on. So annoying. It literally does nothing in those seconds too. Like no movement, just plays a clip of music and back off. Don&rsquo;t waste your time or money. The soother attached easily and securely to his crib. My little one loves lying in his crib watching the lights. The melodies soothe him and the characters are absolutely adorable! All the lights, sounds, and motions are all very slow and relaxing and usually in no time he is fast asleep. It really does help our little one calm down and get to sleep. I like that this has different settings and how after ten minutes, the volume slowly fades away. The light function on the soother has been a lifesaver especially when I can&rsquo;t find his binky! The remote is also very useful as I can just turn in back on from my room if needed. I have also attached this to the head rest in my car and used it on long drives to help keep him calm. Then, after a few weeks, the music wouldn't keep playing. It keeps turning off after a few seconds or repeating a sound that it isnt supposed to keep making... got a 2nd one. It wont even move and when I turn it to a certain switch it does the same as our first one! The light wont stay on either and it will start repeating this sound turning on and off... if it works properly, it is my baby's favorite toy and helps her sleep best! My friend received one for her newborn and she also has issues...
