It worked so well we had to get one for when we got home. Supposedly, ocean sounds mimic the sound they are used to in the womb and it&rsquo;s very comforting to babies. Our son won&rsquo;t go to sleep without it. It is amazing and would 10/10 recommend. That being said, I do have one complaint. It worked great for the first week or so, and then the batteries died, and after we replaced them the pieces inside stopped moving, which is a shame because that&rsquo;s one of the best features of this sound machine. He was so scared and just could not sleep. One of the nurses brought this in to see if it helped. It was the first time he stopped crying in hours. I couldn't believe it. Thank goodness we only needed to stay for one night. We are so fortunate, and I know there are many others who spend a lot more time there. Whether you buy this, or ask to borrow one, you won't be disappointed. We bought one the day we got out and he has loved it ever since. He is 2.5 years old now and this wonderful creation still puts him to sleep at night. It has held up so well and I love that it has a remote with it. The lights and sounds are soothing and not too stimulating. It's easy to clean and wipe down. The quality is fantastic. The remote sucks, as you have to be within like 10 feet and in direct line of sight of the machine. So you basically have to be standing in the room looking at the machine to use it... May as well just push the button on the machine at that point. Also there are only 2 settings for volume control. One of which I consider to be too loud to ever use. The other is the maximum volume I would use but would rather have a quieter setting. It's also very bright as well with no dimming control, though it will auto dim over time. The kids seem to go into a bit of a trance when looking at it... So that's nice lol. Overall I guess it does the trick. I am in the process of sleep training her, and this seems to help a lot so far. Not only does it help calms and soothe her, but it gives her something else to focus on besides wanting momma. There are two volume settings and four different settings for the soother. The different settings are music and light, just music, ocean sound and light, and just ocean sound. The sea creatures move when it is on a setting with light and noise. If it is just on a noise you still have the option to turn on the light, but the sea creatures will not move on this setting. The soother needs four C batteries. It comes with a strap attachment so that you have the option to either hang it up on your crib or set it on a nightstand. The strap attachment was straight-forward and easy to set-up. It fit my crib perfectly. The remote that it comes allows you too turn the soother on or off. It only works from 12 feet away. Unfortunately, even if you are within a 12-foot radius if the door to the bedroom is closed the remote will not work, making the remote almost useless for me since I wanted it so I could turn the soother on or off without my toddler seeing me. He stays awake and is restless when he goes to bed. We needed something to help him relax and drift off to sleep. It works so well! This soother is adorable. It looks like the sea creatures are swimming when they move around. It plays sweet lullabies and has a nice backlight so he can see them well in the dark. He enjoys watching them and they help him to calm down and get sleepy. You can attach to the crib or have it free standing. We put his up on a shelf because he doesn't like things close up. I also like that there is a volume control button. He doesn't like loud music or sounds so we keep it on the lower volume. It has a button on the front that looks like a star that you can press to turn on and off or you can use the remote if you don't want to come in the room to turn it off. Its great for babies who wake up easily. That way you don't walk in and disturb their sleep. It reaches up to 12 feet away! We love it. This is really a lifesaver for me as this helps my little one with his night-time sleep issue. This soother can be used as either a stand-alone or crib mounted or in the car back seat, I am using it as a stand-alone as my baby is a fussy sleeper and doesn't stay in the crib most of the times. Mounting is simple, just wrap the holder on the crib frame and slide securely the soother in the mount. This has a couple of sound settings, one is regular and the other is slightly louder. Four different sound options are available with lights on or off. The good thing is it has an on-off button at the front too which can be used by the baby as well. The remote control allows accessing the soother once it is off after the default time is over. This really helps the baby to fall asleep easily and they wake up refreshed. The initial timer is for 25 minutes but can be played again using the remote. The baby really likes to watch the sea animals moving while the music is on. My little one loves this toy, we have been using this for more than a week and so far it works very well. This is portable so you can take it on vacation too. I love this soother toy very much this has been a great addition to our baby toy collection. I would highly recommend it. Overall a great quality product. This would be a great gift for babies, infant, toddlers to sleep better. It can be mounted to the side of a crib but we place ours on a shelf near the crib. I love this option, as it makes it easy to carry from one room to another. It can function many different ways: it can be lit up with motion and sound (ocean noise or music) or just used as a sound machine! This is perfect because it can transition into only being a sound machine as the baby grows older. I also love that there is a button on the front that baby can learn to use to switch the machine on and off. There is a remote for parents to turn the machine off from the doorway as well. I love this feature! The machine will run for 25 minutes and then slowly switch off features. It's the perfect amount of run time to sooth baby to sleep! My toddlers really love this soothing machine as well, so sometimes I use it for them during nap time!
