It was easy to use and the instructions were simple and understandable. After trying on my spouse a few times I felt like I was an ear doctor! LOL...but no seriously it is a great product and although I am not going to diagnose my kids with ear problems I can use it to see if there is something going on before bringing the kids to the doctor and understanding how severe the problem is and determining which doctor I need to go to. I would recommend it to friends and family as a very useful product and one that is great to have available. Using the otoscope, I was able to clearly see that his ears were clean and not infected, and gave him something to chew on to ease his now-determined new teeth coming in!
